Overloading drawers may often be the main reason for sticking drawers. The very first step is to completely empty the drawer and remove for inspection. Check for loose or protruding nails or pins either on the jar or at and about the drawer frame. It might be that straightforward.

Drawer runners are also the culprit. Assess how easily the draw slides along the wooden runners. Should they’ve worked loose it may be the cause of sticking; again, generally because of overloading. If so, then just apply fresh glue to the runner and then pin into position.
The uppermost sides can get worn with time and use. Check that the bottom of the runner remains good – it might be possible to just eliminate the runner and flip it over. If so, then cautiously prise off it with a wood chisel- apply glue- and re-pin right into place.
New runners may be required if turning the old runners round does not fix the issue of sticking. Apply a thin coat of wood glue to the rear of the new runner- press into place- and affix with pins.
Drawer bases may also suffer the adverse effects of overloading. In time they will start to sag, and eventually they can split entirely, requiring replacement. In cases like this, cut a new base piece from either plywood or by a hardwood of choice. Then remove the pins or nails securing the damaged base to the entire body of the drawer utilizing pincers, and eliminate any glue blocks which may be attached using a mallet and wood chisel. Replace with new base by gluing and utilizing pins.
From a strength point of view, based on utilization, this may not be the best option.
